Plays Title: From the Author
People often ask, "What is it like to hear your words spoken on stage?" My analogy is that it is not unlike taking your clothes off in the middle of a crowded room. One must consider exactly how much of yourself you wish to expose, and for what purpose or gain. A trade-off. At first, one may be shy, but eventually the thrill becomes addictive. And how exhilarated (Smug?) I sometimes feel when the curtain opens and I know that for the next two hours I get to stand on my soapbox and voice my opinions about religion, family values, politics, morality, etc. and no one will be allowed to talk back!
