"Bomber Command is a play about a typical Halifax crew on a bombing mission ... and takes place ... right under the towering cockpit in the museum ... the first act of the play is a series of vignettes showing the various backgrounds and motivations of the various crew members aboard the bomber, the Molly May.
The second act is the Molly May's crew on a tense bombing mission, which may well be their last. Characters include a French Canadian bus driver, a pair of Mafia-connected buddies, stiff-upper-lip English officers and several female roles, including a housewife, a recruiting receptionist, and a singer."
